Mental Wellness at Work

We spend around a third of our productive adult lives at work. If we work for ourselves or for others, we will at some point feel overwhelmed with either work, life or both.

It may be that past experiences are impacting your current ability to function at our optimum, or we may be struggling with current life issues or perceptions of ourselves that hinder our ability to perform effectively.

Ignoring the issue or delaying asking anyone for help can make the situation gradually worse. Too often we think we don’t have enough time to deal with the issue, but not setting aside that time can be counter-productive.

Sometimes, just talking to someone about what you are going through can help make you feel better. Getting professional help is not a sign of failure, it is an active step towards getting yourself back to a good place again.
